P&D have had a tiral stay with Auntie Sausage and the girls ready for a 2 week stay next year. Auntie Sausage gives the boys all the care, cuddles kisses and attention if not more than they would get at home. Its very far away for us but worth it to know our boys are in very good hands especialy having an IVDD warrior that Auntie Sausage knows how to care for. Cant wait for their next stay!

Auntie Sausage is a lovely lady who provides the most loving boarding experience for dachshunds. She is so professional and takes so much care over every dog she looks after. Its alwasy hard to leave your dachshund when you go away because they are such cuddly dogs, but Auntie Sausage makes sure to give them all the affection and love they need. She keeps you updated with photos and videos during your pup's stay which reassures you that they're having a great time. I feel completely at ease leaving Bella with Auntie Sausage, i know she will be safe and well looked after. I can't recommend Auntie Sausage and her Long Dog Hotel enough!

What can I say about Auntie Sausage and her care for our precious pets?! Dennis has grade 5 IVDD, is paralysed, and this has not fazed Auntie Sausage at all! Nothing has been too much trouble, and her willingness to adapt her routines, to fit in with Dennis's, has been without fault. As neighbours of the Long Dog Hotel will testify, Dennis barks SO excitedly every time we approach the gates for a visit!

Frankie is a lovely but quite anxious little dog and particularly suffers anxiety when away from us. So we were very impressed when Auntie Sausage sent us photos and videos showing how Frankie had settled in so well. Since bringing Frankie home, we have noticed much improved behaviour in certain key areas and this is testimony to how Auntie Sausage engaged training techniques during his stay. Above all, the Long Dog Hotel is a very loving and caring environment and we are very happy to recommend and we will leave Frankie there whenever we are away.

A wonderful lady who is full of love for dachshunds and especially for those who suffer with IVDD. Auntie Sausage will send constant updates and videos which are great and made me feel reassured. Her property and grounds are safe and secure. My Lupa suffers with ivdd and Auntie Sausage was totally on the ball when it came to her care in the house or out whilst walking. Lupa is also needy and anxious and again Auntie Sausage was full of warmth and cuddles. Highly recommend.

I have no hesitation in recommending Auntie Sausage from The Long Dog Hotel. Our miniature daxie, Betty, sees it as a real sanctuary where she is stimulated, gets to meet other daxies and gets all the love and attention she deserves. We love the pictures & videos Auntie Sausage sends - we can see how much fun she has when we're not around & Auntie Sausage obviously has a natural bond with the dogs in her care. We are very lucky to have found her!

We were so grateful to find the Long Dog Hotel, which caters specifically for dachshunds. During her first year our little Olive had limited opportunities to socoalise due to covid restrictions. Auntie Sausage's extensive knowledge and expertise of the breed is outstanding. After meeting her, we felt completely reassured that Olive would be in safe hands. We were extremely impressed with how thorough and organised Auntie Sausage is. She provides a calm, safe and loving home for her doggie visitors. When Olive first went to stay was was timid when she initially arrived at Auntie Sausage's home.
Her kind, gentle, patient and compassionate approach put Olive at ease. Within a short while she was enjoying socialising with the other dogs. We have already booked her in for her next holdiay knowing that Olive will be loved, happy and safe in Auntie Sausage's.
