Our everyday life is about our dogs. While our friends/family are on vacation or having family celebrations, we spend our time looking after our wonderful guests, settling them in, walking them, cuddling them, keeping them safe, feeding them, playing with them, caring for them, constant washing/cleaning, new dog meetings, dealing with mounds of paperwork/accounts and updating clients daily.
All of our own plans are made to not coincide with our guests holiday dates/times and so they can also have the option to enjoy a holiday at the special times of the year being Christmas, new year, Easter, bank holidays. We are caring for all our pups every day, evening and every weekend.
As each pup boards, we hope that the owner is having a wonderful relaxing holiday and happy that their pup is being looked after to the highest standards and meeting their every need and expectation.
Sometimes we don’t get much sleep due to caring for puppies, anxious, nervous, medical or disabled/recovering pups. The life of a dog boarder can be challenging with difficult and different dog personalities to accommodate and settle in.
We are ALWAYS here for help and advice and have made good friends with several of our boarding guest families. We want to provide the best service and we always hope that owners stay in touch and support our small business and come back each year.
Money is not made sitting on our bum's like sadly some people think. Every penny we take is earned with a lot of life sacrifice, hard work and stress. Being a responsible boarder isn't a "9 to 5" - job, it's 24/7. Our pups need attention every day and every night all year around. Toys, beds, blankets, bowls, harnesses, fencing, grass, the car etc all need to be kept in good condition and don’t come cheap when constantly updated.
Our house is not perfectly clean, and our clothes and possessions are sometimes full of dog hair. But this is our life and we wouldn't change it for anything.
We are dog boarders ❤️ 🐶
